Dinosaurs Live! + Jurassic Night Out
Join the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 26, for the return of Dinosaurs Live!
Encounter the 40-foot T-Rex and 13 new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature trails at the 20th annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit. Dinosaurs Live! is included in general admission ($16 for adults; $12 for children ages 3-12; $14 for seniors ages 60 and older; free for children 2 and younger) and is free for Heard Museum members. This is a seasonal, annual exhibit. When it is open, it is available during the museum’s regular hours of operation.
Then, at 6 p.m. Saturday, September 26, join the Heard Museum for an epic adults-only evening under the stars featuring the original 90s blockbuster “Jurassic Park.” But hold onto your fossils, because this isn’t just any movie night. Imagine watching those iconic dinosaurs on the big screen in the Heard’s outdoor amphitheater while being surrounded by life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the nature trail. Feast like a T-Rex on food from delicious vendors and enjoy a selection of beverages. Whether you’re a dinosaur fanatic, a lover of the great outdoors, or just in it for food and drinks, this dino-mite night is guaranteed to be a roaring good time. A Night to Remember: Denim & Diamonds Gala Kickoff
Join The Bridge Breast Network from 3-5 p.m. September 27 at Profound Foods, 163 Fountain Court, for an adults-only official kick-off celebration for the 2026 A Night to Remember: Denim & Diamonds Gala. Wear your favorite jersey and enjoy an afternoon of community, great food, and fun featuring tasting stations from some of DFW’s top chefs, plus a raffle and silent auction. Guests can learn more about the Bridge Breast Network’s mission, upcoming gala, sponsorship opportunities, and ways to support breast health education, screenings, diagnostic services, treatment, and survivorship services for North Texans in need.
Tickets are $75 per person.
Solar Home Tour
The Fairview home of Paul and Elena Westbrook will be part of the American Solar Energy Society National (ASES) Solar Tour from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 3. Tours of the home, located at 440 Lakewood Drive, will last about 50 minutes and will begin at 30-minute intervals during the tour schedule. Participation is free and open to the public.
