Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Focus Areas

In January of 2013 the Fairview Town Council held its annual retreat. As part of the retreat a discussion took place regarding the establishment and content of vision and mission statements for the town, as well as designating a specific set of core values and focus areas. At the February 5, 2013 Town Council meeting the council ratified the vision and mission statements, core values and focus areas located below. The ratification of this language establishes the foundation to what will ultimately become the town’s Strategic Plan. As the Strategic Plan develops, updates and information can be found on this page.

2014 Fairview Citizen Survey Results

The results of the 2014 Fairview Citizen Survey were presented at the April 1, 2014 Town Council meeting. The purpose of the survey was to seek citizen opinions and priorities, determine satisfaction levels and to generate ideas on how to move our town forward. While brief and easy to complete, the survey covered a broad range of topics, from roads and code enforcement to leisure services and communication efforts. Based on total households that received the survey, a collection rate of 28 percent was calculated. The Town Council and town staff would like to thank all Fairview residents that took time to contribute to this effort.
